All Star Pet
This month we spotlight Mia Bailey-Gardner, a Portugese Waterdog. Mia is
two years old and lives in the Heights with her parents, Dr. Su Bailey and
Larry Gardner. Mia is large, strong, and still acts like a puppy. She is beautiful,
affectionate and loyal. She loves her walks, cheese, and is a big chewer. She
goes through a chew bone every night. Mia can’t get enough pets and her
parents hope she becomes a therapy dog someday. During Hurricane Ike,
Mia, along with her family, stayed at the VA Hospital. While her parents were
working, Mia stayed in the basement with all the other employees’ pets. Mia,
wherever you go and whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be there
with you!
