Personal Care of Your Pets in Their Own Home

By Joel Smith
Aggie is a ten year old, Heinz-57, shepherd-lab mix, sixty pound, pound
puppy, cuddle machine. She is a rescue from the Brazos County Humane
Society in Bryan, TX. As you can probably guess, her namesake is the Texas
A&M Aggies. For those that know the story of Reveille, the A&M mascot, the
students adopted a local mix breed and named it Reveille due to the dog’s
fondness of the cadence. Though Aggie is not a member of the Corps of
Cadets or really all that interested in any cadence, she is absolutely a true
Aggie. She is the most loyal, caring, protective, strong, obedient (within
reason), sweetest dog I could ever have hoped for. Over the last ten years
she has shielded me from an aggressive stray and at the same time always
loved giving human babies kisses on the face. So now Red (as I affectionately
call her), after a decade of loving friendship, needs care while I am off doing
whatever takes me away from my time with her. I happily entrust Bone
Voyage Pet Sitting Services to sit for her in my absence.
