Personal Care of Your Pets in Their Own Home
The spotlight is on Lucky Anderson this month. Lucky is a 4 year-
old German Shepherd. He lives in Shepherd Park Plaza with his
parents, Linda and Bob. Lucky was adopted from Twyla’s Friends
when he was one year old. Back then he was skinny, shy and
reserved. The trust and bonding experience was going slowly so
Linda and Bob started taking Lucky to the Go Dog Socials and to
local dog parks. Lucky really enjoyed these outings and started to
blossom. He has turned out to be a sweet, kind, and gentle dog.
He loves everybody, human or animal. At the dog socials he has
become a leader and jumps in to mediate if needed. At home, he
enjoys tea parties with the grandchildren and backyard
activities. He likes to chase squirrels, sit in the pool, and play with
his squeaky toys. Frosty the Snowman is his favorite squeaky toy
and he likes a Milkbone now and again. It has been so neat to
watch Lucky blossom, but he still won’t drink out of a community
water bowl. Linda and Bob have to bring a separate bowl for him
while he sits in the community bowl. Mr. June says, “Yea, you
can call me Lucky.”
