Riley and Lucas Buehler, two gorgeous Weimaraners, live in Oak
Forest with their humans Kelly and Scott, along with Siena
(Calico) and Ike (brown Tabby). Riley was adopted from a
breeder as a wee puppy and Lukas came from North Texas
Weimaraner Rescue at one years old. Riley is happy go lucky and
loves everybody especially her cats while Lukas is a little shy and
reserved until he gets to know you. They are charter members of
the Go Dog Social Club and have a large circle of dog friends that
get together regularly for parties and socializing. Early in the
19th century the Grand Duke Karl August of Weimar set out to
create a multipurpose dog to meet the assorted needs of the
German forester. This dog would compete with the best hunting,
fetching, tracking and swimming dogs of its day. It would, also
be regal-looking, surpassingly intelligent, loyal, robust and
strong. Kelly says Riley and Lucas are all that, but their true
specialty is lying on the couch and looking cute.
