“Mr. July/August” is Kiki Howard, a seven year old Sheltie who lives in
Section V with his mother, Jolie, and his kitty cat, Louie (orange Tabby).
Kiki was adopted from the Houston Sheltie Sanctuary at age four. Kiki is
a very busy guy as he goes to daycare once a week, has a midday walker
four days a week, and often visits his grandparents in Austin on the
weekends. Kiki is a big talker and he loves his kitty cat and mail time.
When his mother is home from work he likes to play “in and out.” This is
a game where Jolie opens the back door and Kiki goes out then a few
minutes later she opens the back door and Kiki comes back inside. This
is a fun game and Kiki will play until Jolie quits. He also loves peanut
butter chewies and Greenies. Kiki does not like to drink water from a
community bowl and insists on his very own water bowl wherever he
goes. Kiki and his family are a delightful new addition to Garden Oaks.
