Miss October is Nuala (pronounced Noola) Bullen (Staffordshire Terrier). She is two
years old and lives in Section I with her humans, Meg, Graeme, and Madeleine. She
shares her territory with Willie (American Eskimo), Sheeba (Siamese), and Fuego and
BunBun (rabbits). Meg first fell in love with the breed while visiting South Africa with
her husband, Graeme. Staffies are quite common in South Africa and England where
they are nicknamed the “Nanny Dogs” because they are so good with children. Nuala
is good with everybody and everything; she is just one bundle of lick. She is so
devoted to her family that she even wants to accompany them to the bathroom.
Nuala and father, Graeme, occasionally have to sit still while Madeleine plays beauty
shop on them and paints their fingernails. Nuala is so excited because her
grandparents, Karen and Gerald Bullen, are here visiting her from South Africa and
that means more family to love. If love is the beauty of the soul then Nuala is one
gorgeous pup!
