Miss September is Chloe Potts (Doberman/Rottweiler mix). She lives in section IV of Garden Oaks
with Susan, Darin, Erika, Camille, and Brianna. They also have an orange tabby named Oliver,
some fish, and two hamsters. Chloe is the first-born daughter of this family and she is 12 years
old. Chloe loves the mountains and snow, so all the girls went to Colorado this summer.
Unfortunately, she got hold of some chicken scraps thrown on the ground by previous campers
and contracted E. coli. She got very sick very fast and they were in a remote area of the
mountains. Susan got everyone in the car and called "On-Star" who directed her to the nearest
veterinarian. Chloe had to stay in the hospital a few days before they could return home. It was a
close call but, thankfully, she is much better now.
Chloe likes treats, lying in front of her dining room window and taking long walks. Sometimes her
mother reads to her when they walk and sometimes the whole family walks together.
